About the Retreat
What makes Pulse different from other wellness retreats?
Pulse offers more than a wellness retreat. It is an invitation to experience China through the people who know it best.
Created by a cross-cultural team based in China and the United States, Pulse brings together Traditional Chinese wellness, local culture, and time in nature into one thoughtfully designed journey.
Rather than moving quickly from one attraction to the next, you'll experience a slower rhythm of life through tea, Traditional Chinese Medicine, traditional crafts, local communities, and everyday practices that have been part of Chinese life for generations.
This retreat has been created specifically for international guests, with bilingual support and a team that understands both cultures from start to finish.
Who is this retreat for?
This retreat is open to adults of all backgrounds. No previous experience with meditation, Traditional Chinese Medicine, or wellness practices is required. Whether you're simply curious about Chinese culture or looking to slow down and recharge, you'll be warmly welcomed.
Why China?
China has one of the world's longest continuous wellness traditions. Through tea, Traditional Chinese Medicine, movement, and everyday rituals, this retreat offers an opportunity to experience a side of China that goes beyond the landmarks and into daily life.
How many guests will join each retreat?
To ensure a personal and meaningful experience, each retreat is limited to a small group, usually 15 people maximum.
Is this retreat physically demanding?
Most activities involve gentle movement and walking at a relaxed pace. No special fitness level is required, although participants should feel comfortable walking for extended periods and navigating uneven paths.
